CHAPTER EIGHT

QUINN

Hayes is gone when I wake up and Chase is still sleeping. My movements are deliberately slow and I’m silent as I try to crawl out of bed. Chase’s arm immediately moves over my body and he pulls me back to him, pulling me flush against his chest.

“Where are you running off to?” Chase murmurs against the side of my neck as I move against him.

“I was trying to sneak away while you were still asleep.”

He chuckles softly. “Nice try.” He pauses for a moment before rolling me over to face him on the bed. He lifts his hand, running his thumb against my bottom lip. “Do you want me to let you run away?”

My throat bobs and I swallow roughly as I shake my head. Last night was supposed to be a one-night kind of thing, yet I find myself wanting more. I don’t want to run away from him or Hayes. I want to stay right here to see what happens next.

“Then spend the day here with me. Hayes will be back later and maybe if he’s lucky, you’ll still be here then.”

I stare at him for a moment, my eyes searching his as I watch lust swirling in his irises. We’re close, so fucking close that I can feel the warmth of his cock as he presses his hips against mine. “I’ll stay.”

He slowly slides his hand down my throat, resting it on my collarbone. “I like that.”

“I like you,” I murmur, taking my chance as I move his hand away and push on his shoulders. Chase submits, rolling onto his back as I roll with him and straddle his lap. We’re both already naked and I feel him pressing against me.

Chase lets out a low chuckle as he grabs my hips and flips me off of him. He shifts with me, moving me onto my back as he hovers above me. “What do you think Hayes would say if he walked in on us?”

I try to move beneath him. “I don’t think he’d say anything,” I tell him, attempting to wrap my legs around his waist to pull him closer, but he pushes me away. “I think he’d join in.”

“Would you let both of us fuck you again?”

My mouth is instantly dry. “Yes.”

“Fuck,” he groans, his hips pressing against me. His eyes probe mine once more before he suddenly abandons his position and moves down my torso. He pushes my thighs apart. “Goddamn, you’re perfect.”

I stare back down at Chase, his perfect face settled between my legs. His words vibrate through my body and he closes his eyes as his head dips back down, licking along my center. He’s skilled with his tongue, working himself against me in a way that has me gripping his hair in my hands and throwing my head back in pure ecstasy.
